THE WORD IS OUT

THE OPTIMIST IN ME has been recording brand-new music throughout 2025 and is now preparing to launch a new campaign, stepping forward as flag bearers of heavy music with a positive message.

The band recorded an intense new body of work with producer Chris Clancy (Machine Head, Architects, Kataklysm), right in their hometown, alongside drummer Joris Nijenhuis (ex-Leaves’ Eyes, Atrocity) and guitarist Jord Jørgen Otto (ex-Revamp, VUUR). The result is powerful, emotional, and uncompromising, a release that marks a new chapter for the band.

In the coming months, the band will also release a series of videos exploring the deeper meaning behind THE OPTIMIST IN ME, the philosophy, the emotions, and the beating heart at the core of the music.
